Palaces
In the Baroque period, after the 2nd Turkish siege, Vienna experienced an upswing. During this time, numerous palaces – summer residences of the nobility – were built in Josefstadt. The Auersperg, Laudon, Strozzi, Trautson and Damian palaces have survived to this day.
